There are a variety of applications for synthetic grass such as, sports fields, industry parks, or residential landscapes. With the variety of applications, we aim to provide a similar variety of products and product lines. We have developed our current products and run them through rigorous tests to ensure they meet the Diamond Turf standard. Every product that wears the ‘Diamond Tough’ seal means that is has passed our rigorous tests and is ready for whatever you and life might have to throw at it. Because we believe turf is meant to be more than pretty, it’s meant to be LIVED on.
Turf is made of small pieces of yarn woven together on a backing. Traditionally, turf yarn mixed with rubber turf beads would absorb all of the heat from the summer sun, then acting like a heater making the air surrounding the turf excessively hotter than the outdoor temperature... Not cool. Nobody whats to get fried on their turf!
So, we set out to use unique yarn and give you a variety of infill options. The yarn we use has reflective properties in the material and color meaning it absorbs less heat. It reflects invisible infrared light and decreases heat buildup making your turf cooler even in the heat of the day. With this amazing turf and our infill options such as coated sand, which doesn't heat up and stay hot like it’s rubber counterpart, your turf is noticeably cooler even in the heat of the day.
The landscapes that surround us inspire the very things we do and how we feel. We strive to create amazing turf products that bolster the vibe and aesthetic that a well designed turf application has to offer. Interested in some design assistance as you search to create an amazing exterior living space? Talk to us about it! We'll be glad to help.
How the turf is made is HUGE deal. The entire manufacturing process needs to be vetted to make sure we are taking into account every aspect of durability, color hues, assembly, and more. We don't put the Diamond Turf stamp on any old turf... This stuff is the real deal. Have more questions about our manufacturing process? We'll be glad to help any questions you may have.
Second to what turf you choose to install. The next more important thing is HOW will it be installed, most people/companies follow a very similar installation process, but you'll want to make sure that no corner are being cut in the process. Skipping processes such as compaction, securing edges or following the correct infill application could all potentially result in major problems down the road. Do it right the first time and you'll be happy with your turf for a long long time.
Turf is fairly easy to maintain, but that doesn't mean that it requires no maintenance. You'll be happy to hear that you can throw out that old lawn mower you've been dragging out tot he yard every Saturday. But to ensure a long lasting application that is strong and sanitary, make sure to follow maintenance tips such as brushing fibers to ensure they aren't becoming constantly compacted and matting down. spraying the top layer of turf to effectively drain unsanitary liquids from animals, etc.
